The effect of ethanol solvent on thermostability and esterification activity of immobilized Candida rugosa lipase on celite

چکیده
Abstract Lipase is an enzyme commonly applied as a catalyst in the food industry, synthesis of bioplastics, and production biodiesel. Candida rugosa lipase (CRL) one widely used lipases due to its high selectivity activity. However, operating temperatures can denature enzymes, affecting activity structural changes. An be immobilized on supporting matrix improve stability. Ethanol immobilization solvent may also increase thermostability esterification This study examines effect ethanol lipase. Immobilization was carried out Celite-545 buffer/ethanol solution. Different conditions such concentrations, temperatures, time, pH were observed. The determined by reaction using butyric acid 1-butanol substrates isooctane medium. results showed that increased 76% at 37°C. Thermostability enhanced 29-51%, depending temperature.
